CA turned Advocate Mahesh Shivratan Mandhana had been practising as Chartered Accountant from September 2004 to December 2022. He focused on GST Service Tax and Sales Tax. He was also associated with CA firms in Mumbai where he had worked extensively in Consultancy and Litigation in GST , Service Tax and Sales Tax. He has successfully served the clients from various sectors such as logistics, shipping, manufacturing of chemicals, garments, auto parts etc. He regularly writes articles on indirect taxes on LinkedIn and taxguru. He also speaks regularly on GST at various CPE Study Circles and webinars.

From January 2023, he has been practising as an Advocate in the law firm founded by him "SWATANTRA LEGAL ADVOCATES". The firm is geared to provide transaction based consultancy in GST Customs Law and Foreign Trade Policy to avoid litigation and to optimise tax efficiency. The firm posses necessary knowledge and experience to provide representation to clients right from first appeal level up to tribunals and other higher judicial forums.
